Voluma XC is part of the Juvederm family of hyaluronic acid fillers and is a beautiful option used in the face to add structure and architecture. Certain fillers have been approved for specific indications, but an experienced injector can use different fillers in many different areas to attain a desired level of improvement.

When you add Voluma XC into the cheek your lifting, adding volume, and re-drapping the skin, for a more youthful appearance. As the cheek is lifted, hollows in the face are improved and resulting shadows are diminished. When you inject into the jaw you can minimize the appearance of the jowl providing a more distinct jaw line. Injecting the chin can add structure eliminating the appearance of a ‘weak chin’.

Voluma is injected with a small needle, so bruising is minimal and swelling is limited while results are immediate.

When we look in the mirror we focus on lines and sagging skin but focus less on the cause of the aging skin. When the mid-face is lifted it improves the appearance of the nasolabial and oral commissure lines. We have a slow progression of bone loss with normal aging and Voluma XC can recreate the structure we lose with a very natural results.

We are able to use Voluma in a very effective way yet no one will know you had a procedure. They will be asking unrelated questions regarding sleep , and your new hair style (which hasn’t changed in 10 years).

If this type of improvement appeals to you, we would really like to see you for a complimentary consultation. Our team of expert injectors will be able to advise you on procedures that will benefit your skin and help you achieve your aesthetic goals. We hope to see you soon.

Abby Coggins, RN

I have been injecting Botox for 15+ years, but I do not think I have ever shared with you my first experience getting Botox.

I had previously worked with very sick and critical patients, and now I had branched off into the world of skin rejuvenation and plastic surgery. In my new role I quickly realized it was necessary for me to be treated with Botox for me to better understand my job and what our clients were experiencing. I didn’t have any lines, wrinkles or folds at the time that bothered me. Not to mention I was terrified of injecting a toxin into any area of my body, for vanities sake (even though Europe had numerous studies to back up the safety and efficacy of the treatment.) I needed the job and it was a sweet set-up, so into the chair I hopped, for my first ‘anti-wrinkle’ treatment.

It took 1-2 weeks for the Botox to ‘kick in’, and as I waited, I circled the mirror in regular patterns, like a fish in a tank, waiting for something horrible and grotesque to happen. To my great happiness and surprise the improvement was subtle and soft. I hadn’t even realized the lines in my face were apparent until they were so blurred that I couldn’t even see them. Blurred as in not bad vision, but softened and natural. Better yet, no one could tell what I had done, everyone guessing I had cut and re-styled my hair!

Fast forward to today, since I have been using Botox fairly regularly for 15+ years (keeping job….) I have most definitely aged in a kinder/gentler way. Allowing those muscles in my forehead, frown and around eyes to relax, while keeping my facial movements looking natural.

I realized I was so afraid of looking fake, frozen or un-natural that if my, at the time, job hadn’t been threatened I would have never started with a wrinkle reducer. Thank goodness for the overbearing, dominant woman who made me take my first step!

Now we know in the industry that the earlier we start with skin care and improvement the softer the aging process will descend upon us. With Botox you can decrease the amount of movement in any given area and combined with professional skin care rejuvenation treatments the results can be stunning.

If I could impart any information, it would be that doing nothing gets you nowhere. We all are aware how important it is to exercise and eat well. What we seem to forget is if we do not take an active role in maintaining the skin (the largest organ in the body) we can appear unhealthy and dehydrated. Much better to look like a grape than a raisin.

Things to look for when getting Botox:

  1. A professional injector with an artistic eye.
  2. Someone that listens not just hears.
  3. Reputation and experience.
  4. Someone you connect with- It’s a ‘journey not a destination.
  5. A facility that offers the ability for overall skin rejuvenation. Botox is not a ‘silver bullet’, it is just a step-in skin health and rejuvenation.

Now that you have heard about my first experience and the benefits I have experienced with Botox, I hope we can become your trusted partner in your journey to healthy aging.

When I was putting together my business plan for Elevation Med Spa, figuring out what to budget each month for marketing was tricky.  Starting a new business from the ground up means nobody knows who we are until with find a way to introduce ourselves.  I quickly realized, the more you spend the greater the potential impact.  But what is the right medium, how much do I spend, how long do I stick with it, how targeted do I need to be?  These are all questions I wish I had the answer to and will continue to ask in order to find the right balance on reach and return.

In the aesthetic industry, it is pretty clear having a strong online presence is paramount.  Most clients are searching Google or social media to find a location that provides the services they desire.  Like anything in the digital world, the easier it is to find us the better chance we have of securing the appointment.

We also asked ourselves if digital marketing is the only way to go?  Should we put all our eggs in one basket to try and maximize our online footprint?

Through a lot of discussion and research, we decided to take a two-prong approach to our marketing initiative.  Through careful planning and a bit of good fortune, we are partnering with Xcite Digital Media and Avid Lifestyle magazine to maximize our target market and drive new business.

Xcite Digital Media created our website and has a strong track record with developing effective digital campaigns.  There is a multi-step process that begins with a program called Step Rep.  This essentially works with all of the search engines and online directories to ensure your business information shows up exactly the same on all platforms. This helps to set the foundation for our Google algorithm which leads to better positioning on search platforms.  The second phase is the social media campaign where we have five ads running across Facebook and Instagram to help build brand awareness and drive potential customers to our website for additional information.  We just started this campaign and are pleased with the early results.  We are seeing an increase in both traffic to our website and phone calls to the office.  We are excited about the process of moving through the additional phases of the campaign as we continue to grow and learn more about our clients.

Avid Lifestyle magazine could not have launched at a better time.  This lifestyle magazine targets the exact geographical areas we are focusing our marketing efforts.  Avid Lifestyle provides us an opportunity to get our name out into the community to introduce ourselves and our services.  This high-end publication is direct mailed to 12,500 homes and 500 businesses in our market.  We were a bit hesitant at first to make the investment in a print ad knowing so much focus is on winning in the digital space, but the first issue has already produced several new clients.

I am excited for the initial plan we have implemented, and it is reassuring we are already seeing new activity from each platform.  We will continue to evaluate the digital and print mediums to figure out where our dollars are best spent, but we put a stake in the ground to get started and are off and running.  Look for us online or in print to see the quality of the ads and help spread the word- because we all know a good recommendation from a friend is still the best marketing a business could ask for.

Thank you for joining us on our journey,

Chris

One of the uncertainties of opening a business is how will it affect my family.  The amount of time and energy devoted to get the business up and running can certainly be a drain on your family life if you are not conscientious about managing your time.  One of the blessings in this process has been my families desire to walk this journey with me and more importantly contribute to the success of the business.

I am blessed with two daughters who have been very inquisitive of this venture.  For their entire lives they saw me leave the house wearing a suit each morning on my way to work.  It’s all they knew.  Going to work was just something I did, and they were really blind to where I went and what I did each day.  With Elevation, they have been involved since the inception.  This business makes sense to them because we started talking about it well before it became a reality.

They were able to observe and even lend an opinion on some really important decisions such as the logo and website configuration.  They were with me to watch the build out of the office and spent their Saturday’s shopping for office furniture.

Now that we are up and running, they have a vested interest in how the business succeeds.  It has created many special moments and conversations with them as they ask me how Karen likes the new office and what did Vinny create today.  It has brought so much joy to the endeavor knowing we are all in this together.

You always read about how it takes all hands-on deck when starting a new business and I am learning the truth to this statement.  I will forever have the image of our family assembly line in our living room packing gift bags for our grand opening.  It was a laborious task that incredibly was met with enthusiasm and determination to finish before bed time.  This was yet another moment for me to understand that we are in this as a family and it is not just me but us putting our time and effort into building a business that makes us proud.

I have always heard enjoy the journey- it is the best part of the process.  Not only do I have a better perspective of what this means, but I have whole heartedly embraced it.

What a night to celebrate our Grand Opening in Lone Tree Colorado.  All of us at Elevation Med Spa would like to thank you for attending our open house last week.  We were proud to show off our new office and introduce you to our menu of services.

As those that attended were quick to see, our team is amazing.  Our Nurse Practitioner, Karen Hoffman, has an extensive depth of knowledge and understands how to make clients feel comfortable and confident.  She is remarkable at developing an individualized plan to get you the results you strive to achieve. Vinny Sathe is our Director of Marketing and rising superstar.  He is not only a Registered Nurse but also a creative dynamo that helps to create a vibe you will love.

We held several live demonstrations (https://youtu.be/Jgs4UHV3srE) throughout the open house to help everyone better understand our services and provide an opportunity to watch the procedure and ask questions.  We hope you found this to be both helpful and informative.

We have a lot of fun events planned for the first half of 2019 and will continue to share our stories as we launch Elevation Med Spa to the community.  We hope you enjoyed your time with us at the Grand Opening, and share your experiences with your friends.  The more you can help us through word of mouth, online reviews, or following on social media (@elevationmedicalspa) the more quickly we will expand our ability to reach others.

If you were not able to attend, we missed you and would love to have you stop by.  We are available for no obligation consultations or just come by and say hello.

You can schedule all your appointments and consultations online at www.elevationmedspa.com or call us at 303-993-6578.  We are energized by the enthusiasm from the open house and look forward to seeing you soon.

We will continue to stress the importance of creating an environment that helps you achieve your aesthetic goals and will hold each other to the highest standards to ensure your experience is always positive.

In many cases, these statements are created and sent around a company but are not adopted by the majority.  In our case we have established our mission, vision, and values from the start and have built a team around what they stand for.  Our ability to build the right team who believes in what we are doing and how we go about serving our customers will lead to the consistent experience you not only expect but deserve.

Thank you for believing in us and we look forward to earning your trust and exceeding your expectations.

I have always dreamed of starting my own business.  It is hard to know when the right time is or even where to start, but I always knew I wanted it to be a business that helped people improve their lives.  After spending 15 years in the pharmaceutical business, I understand the impact strong ethical companies can make in improving a patient’s wellbeing.

After working for an incredible corporation, I decided it was time to make my dream a reality.  I have committed to opening Elevation Med Spa.  After many long days and nights trying to figure out my entrepreneurial path, I kept coming back to the core of what I wanted my company to focus on: improving people’s lives.

The aesthetic industry provides the perfect opportunity to open a business that focuses on helping others achieve their goals.  I am a big believer that when we look good we feel good.  The technology and services today to improve the health of our skin and reverse aging have never been better, and most importantly the results look fresh and natural.

As social media becomes an integral part of everyday life, we put ourselves out there for the world to see.  No matter the picture, be it a night out on the town, hanging with friends, or a selfie at a concert we all want to look and feel good.  I want to provide the expertise for people to have a holistic plan to achieve their desired results.

The idea behind Elevation Med Spa is to promote Health, Wellness, and Beauty because it is more than just a procedure to get where you want to be, it’s a way of life.

Thank you for taking this journey with me.  It will be a challenge, but I am excited to have you along with me.

As more progress is made, my excitement level continues to increase.  An important and exciting step for any start up business is the creation of the company brand and logo.  I have had Elevation Med Spa named in my head for a while but enlisted the help of Andrew Lunn owner of ANEW branding specialist to help design a great brand and logo.

He recently sent over 11 brand options all with different fonts and designs.  You should have seen the smile on my face as this is the first visual aspect of this dream becoming a reality.  Andrew did a great job providing several different styles and choices.

I enlisted the help of a few trusted friends and family members to help in the process.  It can be a bit overwhelming to land on the best design for the business.  After a few days of looking at each design in different ways, we found a great design to represent Elevation Med Spa.

Andrew was incredibly helpful listening and explaining his thought process and how he choose the design options.  The look of the logo is very clean and powerful.  The font looks elegant and Andrew created an icon that fits the name beautifully.  He created an “e” mountain.  The icon looks cool by itself and fits our Rocky Mountain style.  When you see it, I hope you love it as much as I do.

Once I land on a color it will be ready to send over to the web designers to get the look and feel of the website created.  It is gratifying to see progress being made and moving closer to Elevation Med Spa becoming a reality.

Seeing the visual logo inspires me to work even harder to build this brand into one of trust and value.  I will work everyday to ensure we deliver the quality and excellence you expect and deserve.

The wheels are in motion and I have learned a lot.  Some days I feel this process is like making Thanksgiving dinner.  You have a whole lot of food cooking and it has to come ready at the same time.

There are three main hurdles I must overcome to get Elevation Med Spa off the ground.  The first was to find a medical director, the second is find an office, and third hire the right team.

The first hurdle has been cleared.  I have partnered with a physician to be the medical director.  I am fortunate to have found an amazing doctor who will be the perfect addition to our team to help us achieve success.  Dr. Manchon is an anesthesiologist in Denver and is excited to be on this journey with us to create an incredible new med spa.

The most fun part so far has been meeting the aesthetic nurse injectors.  In Colorado, to be an injector, you have to be a registered nurse, mid-level provider i.e. Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, or a physician.

To be a great injector you have to understand the client’s goals, their expectations, and have the artistic talent and experience to deliver the best results.

This is a very challenging position, and I have been so impressed with everyone I have met.

The office space is my number 1 priority and I am working hard to find a terrific location.  I hope to report back to you soon on the new location for Elevation Med Spa.  Stay tuned.
